A graduate of The California Institute of the Arts (BFA Scenic Design) and USC’s Marshall School of Business (EMBA), Alex takes a unique approach to directing, producing, developing, and design, utilizing his background in theatre to above all, tell a story. He has designed and produced award winning work for Film, Television, Theater, Themed Entertainment, Theme Parks, and Public Art Installations all over the world.
In business and over the past 15 years, Alex successfully built and exited Entertainment Design Corporation, an entertainment design firm. During his tenure as CEO, Alex helped build the company across 4 different regions, winning multiple Themed Entertainment Association Awards, and exited with an EBITDA margin of 51%, two corporate offices, and 45 employees across three countries.
He currently owns hiddenlemons, a creative development company based in Los Angeles, The Layover Club, a hospitality venture redefining travel for commuting aviation professionals, and a Real Estate Brokerage focusing on investment opportunities in South Florida.
Alex focuses on building businesses that tell great stories and have great people.
He sits on the Executive Board for Invertigo Dance Theatre, an institution at the forefront of Los Angeles dance, as well as guest lectures and mentors at CalState Long Beach, The University of California Irvine, Loyola Marymount University, and California Institute of the Arts.
